Stand with GDIT Call Center Workers
General Dynamics CEO Phebe Novakovic and GDIT President Amy Gilliland
Working people at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) call centers are standing together to form a union for better pay, working conditions, and a brighter future for their families.
But the company is undermining their right to organize by conducting a campaign of misinformation and intimidation. We are calling on the General Dynamics CEO and GDIT President to end their anti-union campaign and respect their workers’ dignity and voice.
Many workers at GDIT struggle to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck. Some even have to rely on public assistance just to get by on the low wages. This is despite the fact that they provide critical assistance to millions of Americans each year, guiding them through complicated healthcare issues on life or death matters. The work they are doing is to fulfill GDIT’s massive, $5 billion contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) operating call centers that assist Americans with inquiries about Medicare and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
GDIT is facing a federal lawsuit brought by over 130 former and current employees and is being investigated by the Department of Labor for shorting its workers over $100 million in wages. Since January, over 2,500 current and former GDIT workers have come forward to call on the Department of Labor to investigate wage theft at the company.
Everyday, customer service professionals at GDIT work hard to provide assistance, support, and information to tens of thousands of Americans. They deserve better. Sign this petition in support of their efforts and to tell the company that must do right by their employees.

Stop interfering with your call centers workers’ right to organize.
We as community members and taxpayers, who foot the bill of the federal contracts that GDIT profits from, demand that GDIT respect its workers’ voice and dignity and stop its campaign of misinformation. We also demand that GDIT pay its workers a living wage and that GDIT stop its systemic practices of underpaying their employees.
