We are forming a union because we believe every Maximus worker should have as much support as we offer to the millions of callers we help everyday. To do this, we pledge to stand in solidarity as an organizing committee.

As an organizing committee member, we pledge to step into our role and take initiative in efforts to organize our coworkers. We will always take time to speak with our coworkers about the benefits of unionizing. We will attend at least two meetings (1 in-person and 1 virtual) per month minimum, in addition to protests, rallies and other actions. We will check in with fellow committee members and organizers about our efforts. We also pledge to bring new ideas to gain progress toward forming our union. We pledge to mentor new members, and share our own knowledge with efforts to organize our coworkers and reach our goal to unionize at Maximus.

As a member of the organizing committee, we pledge to make it our utmost duty to represent every frontline Maximus worker in our fight for a union. We understand that the committee operates under the benefit of every coworker. Though our journey to reach our goal may be a weary one, we pledge to communicate with our fellow committee members with patience, grace, and understanding. Every decision made will be voted on in unison by the committee.
